For our sateen bedding 600 TC we use extra-long staple fibers. There is no higher category than extra-long staple cotton fibers. The production of such fine fibers accounts for only about 2% of world cotton production. For our sateen 600 TC two ply threads are used for more durability. To weave such fine yarns into such uniform fabrics you need first-class weavers.
It is important to use long or extra long and fine fibers, because the softness and durability increases with the length and fineness of the fibers.
